As the vibrant colors of spring begin to bloom, there’s no better time to come together and make Te Puke shine! We invite you, your family, friends, and colleagues to join us for a fun-filled day of cleaning and camaraderie at the Te Puke Spring Clean and Pizza Party.
What to Expect:
Start Time: 3 PM
Kick off the event at The Daily Cafe where we’ll begin with a health and safety briefing. You’ll be equipped with rubbish bags, gloves, and assigned an area to clean up. Whether you prefer to stroll through the town or drive to farther spots, there’s a place for everyone to pitch in.
Bring Your Own Gloves:
In the spirit of reducing waste, we encourage you to bring your own gardening gloves. Every little bit helps!
Family-Friendly:
This event is perfect for kids and adults alike. Bring your children, invite a friend, or come as a team from work. Everyone is welcome to contribute to making our community cleaner and greener.
End Time: 7 PM
After a few hours of tidying up, return to The Daily Cafe to sort your rubbish from recyclables. Then, it’s time to unwind with delicious pizza and a social catch-up with fellow community members.
Educational Stands:
This year, we are excited to feature environmental educational stands. Learn more about sustainable practices and how we can all do our part to protect the planet.
Track Our Progress:
We will be recording all waste collected by type and reporting back to Keep New Zealand Beautiful. Your efforts will contribute to a larger cause, helping us to track our impact and continue improving our environment.
